I began writing An Encounter with a Tattooed Girl four years ago, never imagining where the journey would take me. What started as a lighthearted story shared among friends quickly grew into something more, thanks to their encouragement and enthusiasm for each new chapter.
Life, however, had other plans. In the span of just seven weeks, I lost my parent and grandmother, and then my aunty six months later. Grief made it impossible to finish the book—I simply couldn’t bring myself to look at those pages. But in April 2025, I decided it was time to move forward. I sat down, finished the final chapter, and polished the story that had meant so much to me and my friends.
To my amazement, since May 2025, An Encounter with a Tattooed Girl has been sold worldwide on Amazon, and has reached even more readers through Kindle Unlimited. Seeing how many people have read and enjoyed my book has been a truly uplifting experience, giving me renewed confidence and positivity.
I always wanted this story to have a happy ever after, and now I’m excited to share that I’m working on a new book—a spin-off that continues the journey in unexpected ways (no spoilers, I promise!).
